Great fight
sequences, choice of actors for the characters and makeup! Very interesting
narration unlike the inconsistent graphics needing quite some improvement. I
felt the war scene in the 2nd half could have been a little shorter. Anushka's
makeup was less of an old lady and more of a scary witch. Songs were too bad to
tolerate and should have had as much effort put in as it was done for the
makeup, costumes and war strategies. BGM was at times good as it went in sync
with the visuals. Best characters were Sivagami(Ramyakrishna) and Bahubali.
Kattappa seemed to be not aging at all fighting the same way for generations :)
For being the first of its kind in TFI, the movie is surely watchable. I
thoroughly enjoyed the movie's grandeur.

Julayi - 3.25/5 | Allu Arjun,Ileana D'Cruz and Rajendra Prasad
A refreshing movie after quite a while. Trivikram has nailed it through the comedy segment with all the possible humorous people and witty comedy making you laugh like anything! Songs and camera work serve their purpose pretty well. Once again DSP has won everybody's heart with his mesmerizing tracks...really couldn't stop from loving all of them!! :) Awesome locations in Dubai and I didn't know Ramoji Film City could look good as well. Allu Arjun was perfect(what he usually is) with his body language, dance and everything he did in the movie. He had very good dressing on him. Ileana was more of a skinny contribution to the female lead than for a glamorous one. She was looking so weak that the director had to put in a joke about her skinniness. I thought her make-up looked very shabby and the dressing was just OK. Sonu Sood deserves a special mention for being able to show uniqueness in his role.
I would say the movie was above average but not perfect as the hero's role sometimes lacked credibility and the story line was a bit on the weaker side. Worth watching more than once just for the humor. I enjoyed every comedy scene thoroughly.

Dhammu - 3.75/5 | Jr. NTR, Trisha Krishnan and Karthika Nair
After a hiatus of almost 10 years(Simhadri being his last hit of this genre), NTR has reappeared with ENERGETIC performance once again. A HUGE transition in NTR's dialogue modulation and acting skills from his last movie. No one could have done more justice to the role other than him. The director Boyapati Seenu has done a great job with powerful screenplay and great direction all the way! The first half was very good with subtle comedy and fresh dialogues. Story goes forward in quite a good pace and maintains the intensity with an exhilarating interval bang. I felt the second half was OK due to a certain amount of dragging and a weak ending. You get to see a greater amount of violence here compared to the earlier half.
Ali was successful in generating a few laughs whereas Brahmanandam was not given much of a role. This is a hero centric movie and the female casting was hence limited to glamour and songs. Trisha was good as usual, with a slight change in her eye-color and makeup. Karthika stood up to be equally capable to Trisha in terms of acting but her bad makeup was too noticeable to be ignored. There was NIL chemistry between the hero and either of the heroines. I thanked god for how presentable the hero looked this time!
The fights were well choreographed but also funny at times. Cinematography was worth appreciating. The music was really pleasing running with a very peppy tempo. NTR has lost his previously known dancing shoes. The song 'Ruler' hasn't stood up to my expectations in cinematography but I liked the effort that was put into it. The background score particularly needs a special mention!!!
I am clearly not at all a fan of NTR but for the first time, somehow, I liked him in this movie. Worth watching once in the theater! I enjoyed the movie.

Love Failure - 3/5 | Siddharth, Amala Paul
Loved the jokes as much as I hated Siddharth's loooong bookish dialogues till the end. A different kind of directional point runs throughout the movie giving scope to freshness. Story was simple and sweet about all the common things that happen in an engineering student's life. Siddharth was good as usual with his unique acting skills.Amala Paul was a perfect resemblence to Priyanka Chopra from near and Deepika Padukone from far. She had acted fairly well for her role. Dressing was simple and low key in everybody's case. Her make-up was very minimal and all you can see on her face are her fringes. Director was smart to have made the movie for just about 2hrs not making us feel much bored. Felt he was dragging in a couple of scenes. Definitely not a commercial movie, but has an immensely clear vibe of having been inspired by a short-film. Music by Thaman suited the feel of it. On the whole I felt this movie was GOOD but contained nothing to be stated as great. When watching it, you would feel it more like a 'nice short film-made-into-movie' kind of flick. Not to expect it to be a block-buster type. Can be watched once, if you need a break from regular commercial movies. I liked it, just in parts.

The Businessman - 2.75/5 | Mahesh Babu, Kajal Agarwal
I'm sure this movie wouldn't please many people. A very serious taking without even a hint or scope for humor. There is not a single comedian you can find in the entire movie.Being such a non-commercial type, Puri Jagannath seemed to lose his mettle in blending-in comedy this time. The 1st half seemed to be alright making us just go with the story.By the time of the intermission, you would be expecting some kind of excitement or suspense in the 2nd half, but this would probably be proven wrong. It was rather boring toward the end.The screenplay of power was potrayed well, but I had no idea what the director tried to convey as the conclusion.Could clearly see picturization of the songs resembling the ones in his previous flick 'Super'.The music was not so catchy and almost all the songs sounded the same to me.Kajal Agarwal was as usually good. The supporting actress was hilarious to listen to.Mahesh Babu once again proved himself to be the 'Eye Candy' :D Just loved him! :) Dressing was appealing and new.His dialogues were a little offensive at times but they were sensible to go with the screenplay. On totality, I felt the movie was AVERAGE.Good enough to be watched at home instead of going all the way to a theater.I didn't enjoy it as much as I enjoyed 'Dhookudu'.
